Mr Richard Pilgrim, Co-Headteacher, said, "This year’s results have brought lots of happiness to our final year students.  There are some tremendous individual performances of which they, and the school, can be proud.  Overall, we have bettered last year’s excellent figures by a significant margin, especially the number of higher grades being awarded.

Our students, staff and parents deserve great credit. Particular thanks go to everyone who was at school at 6.30am today to celebrate.

We wish all our students well as they embark on their chosen courses and hope that they will all join our thriving alumni group, Charters Connect.”

Ms Olimpia Morrison, Director of Sixth Form said "Congratulations to all our Year 13 students.  54% of entries were graded A*, A or B and 81% achieved A*- C. It is always pleasing when students' hard work is rewarded.  The excellent grades achieved have resulted in a very large number of our students being accepted on to their first choice of university and a significant number will be going on to Russell Group universities.  This year two students are going to Oxford University, one to Cambridge University and one to Yale University in The United States. "

Mr Andrew Linton Head of Year 13 said, “It is fantastic to see that the students’ hard work and dedication over the last two years has paid off and many have achieved outstanding results. Many congratulations to them – they thoroughly deserve their success.”
